How BCI's advanced safety features keep your drivers and passengers safe -
and gives you peace of mind
Did you know that driver error causes 95% of all accidents?* BCI is committed to
minimizing accidents by providing drivers with timely information to eliminate
these errors. We make advanced safety features standard in our BCI coach.
That means you pay nothing extra to keep your coaches safe. You simply buy them from BCI.
Five of the standard safety features that make BCI luxury motorcoaches safer for your
passengers
- Eaton Vorad anti-collision warning system.
That's right.
This brilliant system is a standard in every one of our coaches. This driver warning system
uses Doppler radar to sense when vehicles get too close. It will also alert a driver
if the bus is veering into traffic in another lane, and can track the position and
movement of up to 20 vehicles at a time. With the Eaton Vorad warning system, drivers
have more time to assess and correct dangerous situations. The Doppler radar is also
able to alert the driver to traffic that he may not be able to see due
to inclement weather, such as fog.
- Adaptive cruise control.
This safety feature is integrated with the Vorad anti collision system and will alter
the speed of the vehicle to match the speed of traffic when the cruise control is
activated. It will also alert the driver when the bus is dangerously close to the
vehicles in front of it, or when the bus is approaching slower moving traffic.
- Integrated TFT back-up camera with radar. No more guesswork. A back-up
camera and radar sees not only what's behind, but also gives an estimated distance to the
nearest obstacle.
- Exceptional braking capability.
Your drivers can reach a complete stop in less than 200 feet.
It is only part of the challenge to identify the dangers on the road; a risk we have
addressed in our previous three innovations. Couple the early identification of risks
with our exceptional stopping distance and that makes for a fantastically safe motorcoach.
- 56 standard seatbelts.
Now that we have identified and equipped drivers to avoid obstacles we decided to take it one step further and add another level of safety to our motorcoach. We have added 56 lap belts, one for every passenger to keep them safely in their seat.
Moreover, your drivers will enjoy greater back, spine and leg comfort because of our ergonomic driver seats
Every Falcon comes with Grammer driver seats - fully adjustable ergonomic seats with air suspension and shock absorbers to reduce pressure on the spine and back.
These ergonomic features will greatly increase driver comfort and minimize the risk
of premature driver fatigue.
Lap belts come standard with all BCI motorcoaches. Three-Point seat belts are available.
